nicole reynolds - poems

god

god is wrinkly
and smells like old books
and should walk with a cane,
but insists on hobbling
without one
and is a barfly
who could throw down
a decent amount of whiskey
or gin.
and has a red tongue
just like mine
and likes to wear a dress
on sundays
and a suit
on mondays
and nothing
most other days
